NATIONAL  CONFERENCE  ON NOVEL COMPUTING (NCNC’14)

The  Department  of COMPUTER SCIENCE ENGINEERING  conducted a National level  Conference titled  “NATIONAL  CONFERENCE  ON NOVEL COMPUTING (NCNC’14)” which was held on 14/03/2014(Friday) at S.M.K Fomra Institute of Technology. Dr. P.Yogesh  Associate professor - Department of IST ,Anna University  was the chief guest  for the occasion. The function started with the prayer song  followed by lighting lamp by the chief guest  Dr .P.Yogesh,  HoD CSE – Mr.Robinson  Joel , Convenor - Mr. S.P.Manikandan, Staff coordinator - Mr. R. Senthil Kumar and Student Coordinator S. Kalimuthu . The Convenor Mr. S.P. Manikandan welcomed the chief guest, HODs, Staff members and Students

The chief guest briefly discussed about the latest technology related to computer science and gave a speech regarding the importance of technology in day-to-day life. “The PROCEEDING OF NCNC’14” was released by the chief guest.  More than 250 papers have been received for the conference and best of 119 papers have been published.

Prizes for top three papers were distributed at the valedictory Function In the presence of Chief Guest , Joint Correspondent – Mrs.Neha Fomra , Principal – Dr.Ushaa  Eshwaran , HOD CSE- M.Robinson Joel and Convernor - Mr.S.P.Manikandan.

Mr.Robinson Joel ,HOD-CSE thanked the Management , Principal, HOD’s, Staff members and participants from various colleges for their cordial presence and support.
