The Department of Humanities and Sciences aims to broaden the scope of knowledge of engineering students. This is done by introducing them to topics that usually frame the fundamentals of their study and go beyond the specialized training in a particular area of technology.

At present, the Department has 5 core disciplines, namely, Technical English, Engineering Mathematics, Engineering Chemistry, Engineering Physics and Engineering Graphics.
